Her vision obscured by the darkening gray of the room, the glint from his blue-gray eyes gives away his position. As her eyes come into focus, she can see him sitting casually in the chair, legs crossed, and the hint of a smirk across his handsome face. Conflicting thoughts jumbled together in her mind like a traffic jam on 696 during rush hour. His eyes never waver, and she shivers as if standing out in a snowstorm, the nubs on her chest threatening to tear through the thin fabric of her dress. "Turn around", only two words, but spoken with a gentle forcefulness. Immediately, she turns around, limbs trembling with terrified excitement. The feel of his fingers gripping her elbows startle her, "How did he get over here and not make a sound?" she wondered, not realizing the fog of lust and fear she was consumed with had all but dulled her awareness of her surroundings. Tia felt her eyes opening, then she saw Colleen smiling at her. Her head came forward, and they pressed lips together, gently, holding it, both of them feeling the warmth of their lips. Colleen broke the kiss, with a look of dismay. "If we weren't surrounded by a room full of women, who are now waking up, I'd want to do a lot more to you baby," Colleen whispered, stroking her cheek. She made sure to stay low, gripping her spear tightly in her hands, her knuckles whitening with tension. To her left, her hunting partner Eba followed closely, also trying to stay out of sight. The two futas turned to each other, and Aanu grunted, nodding towards the ice plain. Eba looked out and saw their prize: a huge woolly mammoth. They split up, moving forward as they stalked their prey, staying low in the brush. I sat up on the couch and glanced at my phone to see the time. The day had been long and seemed to drag, even now, it felt later than it was. I knew if I went to bed now though, even tired as I was, I'd be awake too early. I walked into the kitchen, looking for something to eat, settling on some cheese and crackers and I poured myself another glass of wine to go with it, carrying it back to the couch with me. I curled back up with a blanket and turned my movie back on. When it finally finished, I took care of my dishes and walked through my room to the bathroom. A nice hot shower before I lay in bed should help me relax and sleep, I thought to myself. I turned the water on to get it hot, and popped in one of my lavender and eucalyptus shower melts, letting it begin to work.
